There are many companies, choices, styles and ways in which wigs are constructed. It can be overwhelming to tell which cap construction or style will fit you best. We are here to help you learn much more about these products.

As hairstylists we know hair. We also know wigs and hairpieces and what companies have to offer. We carry a large selection so that you can actually see and try styles in order to make informed choices. We have a wide selection of wigs and hairpieces in stock, and we can order from reliable sources, many items arriving quickly, within days or weeks. We carry both synthetic and natural human hair.

Private Consultations

We have a room reserved by appointment for private and confidential consultation. Our salon is small and having an appointment guarantees we will have time to help you when you come in.

During this time you will be able try many wigs or hairpieces to see which cap construction, colors and styles look best on you. You will be able to ask questions to help avoid making costly mistakes that can occur when purchasing online. In addition, we can teach you how to secure and care for your wig/hairpiece and work with you on styling it.

Scarves/Head Coverings/Hats

We also carry a large selection of beautiful scarves and hats for purchase. We DO welcome walk-ins to browse our great selection.

Insurance Info

Due to HIPPA laws, salons or retailers cannot interact directly with your insurance company.

Most insurances will reimburse you directly for a wig when you send in a prescription from your doctor along with your paid receipt from us.

Prior to your purchase, please contact your insurance provider for details regarding wigs and hairpieces. Your health insurance company customer service will be able to advise you about your maximum benefit (what your company will pay) for a wig (or cranial prosthesis as they often call it).

A prescription from your doctor is also required for your insurance company. Your Doctor’s office will write that prescription for a wig for you as needed.

When you purchase from us, we will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company along with your prescription.

Once approved, the insurance provider will reimburse you directly.

When Insurance Doesn’t Cover

There are also grants available for those whose insurance does not cover them, who need but can't afford hairpieces or wigs. Check with your doctor’s office, nurse or hospital for cancer care programs and other possible programs that help with costs surrounding hair loss issues.
